Can substitute oil of choice for coconut oil, ground allspice for pimento seeds, and can use the all-purpose seasoning on page 239. The book's "Scotch bonnet ketchup" called for in this recipe can be made in advance, or can be substituted by tomato ketchup or tomatoes.
