Cashews require soaking overnight. Can substitute smaller dates for Medjool dates, vegetable oil for coconut oil, cashew butter or peanut butter for unsweetened almond butter, mango for peaches, vegan gelatine for agar agar in filling only, vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste or vanilla pod, butterfly pea flower extract or butterfly pea flower powder for butterfly pea flowers, raspberries for passionfruit in topping only, lime juice for lemon juice in topping only, and maple syrup or unrefined coconut sugar for date syrup.
