Can substitute day-old rice of your choice for day-old jasmine rice, European shallots for Asian shallots, black pepper for white pepper, green bell peppers for red bell peppers, Chinese cabbage for green cabbage, and sambal oelek for sambal terasi.

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Delicious- tastes just like what you’d get at a restaurant. I doubled the chicken because one pound was the smallest quantity I could buy; no problem.
