Cod in spiced tomato broth with rice from The Chinese Way: Classic Techniques, Fresh Flavors (page 114) by Betty Liu

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

  • Eat Your Books

Can substitute other firm white fish fillets such as haddock for cod fillets; other grains such as farro, barley, brown rice, or wild rice for white rice; and vegetable stock for chicken stock.

A nice spice level and sauce that goes nicely with the rice, not a fishy flavor. I used Haddock because that's what I had.
