Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    We took a chance and added about 3 to 4 applewood smoked bacon strips instead of butter. We sauted the onions in the bacon fat and continued from there. We also did a roux toward the end of simmering (prior to adding toritllas) because there was too much liquid. So much for cooking "light". The bacon added a very nice flavor.
