    Can substitute peanut butter for cashew butter, and regular basil for Thai basil.

    Finally made this with raw cashews pounded in the Cusinart. Incredible flavor so different than the peanut flavor, a bit made delicate. Used 1 tsp of Red Thai chili paste just to test the heat level . It was perfect for me. I could drink this sauce its that good.
