Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    This was okay but not a make again for me. I didn't exactly follow the recipe because I was skeptical about several steps. For example, the instructions would have you put hot filling in the pie crust, which I knew wasn't a good idea so I cooled mine and that took a long time. There was no egg wash on the crust. Also, the baking temperature seemed much lower than other pies I have baked so I disregard that and followed my usual practice. Overall, the pie was okay but the filling was much too sweet. The crust, also from this book, was very good.
