    Maybe my slow cooker is too big, and I should have trusted my judgement that it looked like there was not enough liquid, but this started charring at the 2 hour mark on Low. I added around 100ml of water, but it continued charring and then became properly burnt by around the 4 hour mark. I scraped out what I could save and finished it off on the stove. Next time I will add a minimum of 150ml of water or stock at the beginning, because even though the cooking method as written was a fail, it was still a super easy and tasty meal. I added sliced yellow capsicum and mushrooms for the last half hour, as well as more water to help create a sauce.
