Half-wheat sandwich loaf from The Bread Machine Book: 75 Unforgettable, Unfussy Recipes for Every Baker (page 51) by Lukas Volger

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Can substitute white whole wheat flour for whole wheat flour, whole milk for plant-based milk, coconut sugar for brown sugar, and unsalted butter for vegan butter.

A (half) whole wheat loaf my 4 year old eats! Just soft enough to make him happy, and a little more interesting for me.

Excellent. Used a good tasting fresh soy milk and regular butter. Half whole kamut flour, half organic all purpose from TJ. Added half of a plain baked Japanese sweet potato, chopped up. Used dough program, shaped by hand and baked in Dutch oven. Would repeat.
