Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    Delicious! Used icing sugar and stem ginger syrup for a light icing

    I saw this in a cookie box on IG and had to bake them. These were devoured by our friends on NYE. So proud of Sally, a Baltimore neighbor, and adore this book and this fabulous recipe. The cream cheese frosting puts this over the top into the 5 Star rating. I’ve never used sprinkles for cookies bars and am a new convert. Thanks Sally!!!

    This is great and everyone loved it! I've made it twice - once with the frosting and once without. Both were delicious!
