Vegetable broth base from The Complete America’s Test Kitchen TV Show Cookbook 2001–2023: Every Recipe from the Hit TV Show Along with Product Ratings Includes the 2023 Season (page 35) by America's Test Kitchen

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Thanks to Partyof7 for drawing my attention to this recipe. I haven’t used mine yet, but did find a video online showing how it’s made. I made 1/2 recipe to try it out. I will say that the weights are way way out! My tiny celeriac weighed close to a pound, so there’s no way 1/4 of it could be 1.5 oz. Similarly, the leeks, unless they’re tiny, would weigh more than 5 oz. I went by weight in both cases. Half recipe was a bit difficult to process, but could be remedied by making the full amount. Will report back when I try it.

Wow! This is so smart! I used this for a Moroccan carrot soup for vegetarians. No need to strain as it’s a blended soup. I haven’t yet tasted the base plain but the soup was a huge hit. I have 24+ TB in the freezer to use (24 cups worth!) amazing. So glad I found this recipe.
