Can substitute mozzarella or cheddar cheese for provolone.

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Overall great pasta recipe. We did season heavily throughout the process and doubled the onion!

Made subs to suit what I had and it was a crowd-pleaser. Used Omaha steak seasoning instead of Montreal and neither kid thought it was spicy. Used 1 lb. (who has 3/4 lb.?) 80/20 ground beef so the calorie count and fat obviously went up. It did need salt. Will make again.

Solid meal, used high protein pasta. A little light in flavor so I used more seasoning

We used gluten free pasta - added an extra cup of broth but could have probably done more to make a real sauce. Also would add a lot more steak seasoning next time. Maybe it's the pasta's fault but it was a little one note.
