Chicken meatloaf, inspired by matsukaza-yaki (Matsukaze-yaki fū mītorōfu) from JapanEasy Kitchen: Simple Recipes Using Japanese Pantry Ingredients (page 50) by Tim Anderson

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

  • Eat Your Books

Can substitute potato starch for cornflour, tonkatsu sauce for Worcestershire sauce, and white poppy seeds for sesame seeds.

Great flavour and was not dry. I found the ketchup glaze a little sweet, but I eat very little sugar normally. Would probably switch the glaze to something else next time.
