    Delicious! I used 1/4lb of slab bacon from our local butcher instead of the 4 slices and canola recommended by the recipe. I also had to sub fresh clam strips or even canned clam meat for frozen because my store had neither of the recommendations and ended up with slightly more than recommended. But this was a very filling, flavorful, and healthier version of one of my favorite dishes. I'll definitely be making this again.
