    This was simple and delicious! Used 2T of water in the crust dough, though 1T probably would have been enough (it was very pliable). I only had a regular-depth tart tin so I couldn't fit all of the filling, but filled it as full as I could. I used the royal icing recipe on the back of a confectioner's sugar box and I think it was a bit thinner than whatever "instant royal icing" the recipe calls for, because it kind of all pooled in the middle of the tart and looked bad, so I scraped most of it off to just leave a thin glaze, which ended up being fine. If I make this again, I would probably just leave off the icing entirely, as the tart itself is quite sweet and probably didn't need it!
