    Omitted streaky bacon and used stock from cooking a gammon joint the previous day. Cooked the veg and peas together before blending. Cut leftover ham into small dice, placed in bottom of bowl, poured soup over and croutons on top. Lovely, easy, warming, autumnal soup.
