Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    Making these was a wild roller coaster ride that makes me suspicious that the recipes in this book were not tested as written. The recipe calls for letting the dough "rise until doubled", but this dough is so heavy and dense that the dough doesn't rise at all. The recipe later says not to re-roll the scraps after cutting, but there is no way this recipe will make the 12 biscuits it indicates it makes if you do this. I ended up re-rolling the scraps to get to 12, and the resulting biscuits were indistinguishable from the others. Finally, the recipe calls for a bake time of 10-15 mins. After 15 mins the correctly cut 1" biscuits were still doughy in the center. The correct time is closer to 20-25. The recipe also doesn't indicate to place the biscuits next to each other on the baking stone - which I'm glad I did because they would have fallen over on themselves if I hadn't. I think these biscuits would be more successful if placed in a small pan. I was not impressed with the result.
