    This was the first mousse I ever made -- in college with nothing but a big bowl and a hand-held manual flea market eggbeater. I made it in mass quantities and served it to hungry actors at cast parties, where it was a big hit. And it gave me the confidence to push my skills outside my very basic comfort zone
