    Perfect for a special occasion and lends itself to advance preparation. Will most certainly make this delicious and beautiful cake again. There were more than a few dishes, but I agree with Hillsboroks, the result was well worth it.

    While this recipe is a bit of work it is so worth it for a special pear dessert. It also freezes well so if you have leftovers you can save them for another time. The layers look impressive and the pear flavor is astounding.
