    If you prefer rich ice creams, this recipe is not for you. If you are more likely to order sorbet rather than ice cream and are a lemonholic, join me in loving this ice cream. It is perfect to serve with berry pies when lemon enhances the berries. I use it for fruit salads also. If you notice several negative reviews on Epicurious, I wonder if their ice cream makers were more at fault than the recipe. It turns out perfectly for me every time. I am not a candied lemon peel lover so have never added that to my ice cream.
