    I've been making this for more than 10 years and it's absolutely delicious. I add a bit more chicken broth than called for, because otherwise it's too thick. I also increase the sherry somewhat as the sherry flavor is essential. The recipe says to puree half the soup. I puree all of it in my Vita-Mix and it makes a beautiful, smooth, creamy soup that is perfect as a starter.
