    These were so good! I had leftover salted caramel sauce from another recipe that I used for the filling. I was worried the peanut butter in the dough would be overpowering, but it only gave a slight peanut flavor and using it cut down on the amount of butter in the recipe which was nice. I did need a bit extra milk (or cream) as the recipe suggests if the dough is too dry. I didn't have an injector tip and tried using one of my decorating tips to fill the truffles instead, but it didn't work out so well. I ended up very awkwardly creating a cavity in each ball of dough, spooning in a bit of caramel, and then sealing each one up again. This part took much longer than it should have, so I think I will be investing in a set of injector tips before attempting these again!
