A good chocolate cake from Leon, Book 3: Baking & Puddings by Henry Dimbleby and Claire Ptak

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

So fabulous! The most moist chocolate cake I've ever made and one of if not the best, I'm also not vegan. Ive made enough chocolate cakes to know! I also used the coconut oil from Ocado made by Biona that is manufactured specifically for baking and cooking… meaning it has no coconut flavour, so I will always use this method from now on for the ganache as its a lot healthier than glugs of cream. I couldn't tell the difference at all! Will prob use this as my chocolate cake recipe from now on.
