    I used 2/3 buttermilk, 1/3 regular milk. Using my smaller round waffle iron, I got 4 full waffles and 1 partial (maybe 2/3 size) one, just barely enough for my family. These baked up soft, but got crisp after sitting in a 200 F oven for a few minutes, so plan on doing that rather than serving right away. The texture was fairly light for whole grain.
