Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    Like everyone else, I made some modifications. Couldn't find chorizo, so used spicy Italian pork sausage which upped the spiciness; eliminated the water and used all chicken stock; and browned the sausage in a separate pan before adding to the soup. Also grated parmigiano-reggiano over each bowl. I found that the soup was fine on the first day, although the broth was a bit thinner than I would have liked, but it was really good on the second day and the broth had thickened. If I were to make this in the future, I'd make it a day ahead.
