    Don’t skip doing the step of dipping the tortillas in the hot oil - they will fall apart otherwise. Despite the simplicity they have a lot of flavor.

    These were a pain to make (the tortillas kept trying to fall apart) but the flavor was pretty good. By themselves, the flautas were a bit bland but they become quite a bit better with some of the accompanying salsa and some queso fresco on them.
