Is there any way to search notes since that is where optional, substitute and accompanying ingredient information is stored?
No, not currently though it is on our development to-do list.
mjes, I just wanted to make sure you and other members were aware that optional ingredients are neither listed nor mentioned when indexing recipes; the only ingredients referenced in EYB Notes are substitutions.
Not on my favorite recipes :-) ... I should have specified I meant both personal and public notes.
