I need a way of broiling bone-in chicken parts. My present toaster-oven-broiler sits on a shelf put up by a former super to free up precious counter space in my kitchenette; without it I could not hope to have a toaster oven at all. My little B&D is still serving me faithfully after more than 20 years. Only one thing is wrong: the vertical interior space is too small. No way I can put in food to broil and and have the top of the food all of 5 inches from the heat source.
But the shelf is also so small; the maximum footprint I can work with is 16" x 9". Is there ANY TOB that is both compact and capacious enough for my needs? (Infrared ovens don't broil.)
I've been searching on Amazon and so far I haven't found anything.
