Searching for recipes using "cooked on date" field   Go to last post Go to last unread

Is it possible to filter searches using the "cooked on date" field? I've been painstakingly updating this field every time I add a recipe to the "I've cooked this bookmark" but I don't see any way to be able to retrieve or use that information later. Am I missing something? How do I find search for all the recipes I cooked in 2018 for example?

I don't know the answer, but I've been wondering the same thing myself.

Where is the cooked on date located?

When you use the ready-made bookmark, "I've cooked this" it opens up a few extra fields, Cooked On and Note. I guess there are a few different ways to get to that bookmark in the first place--I use the little gray chef's hat to the left of the recipe title, which then turns to green after you've saved the "I've cooked this" bookmark and its associated fields.

But, like the OP said, I don't know how to view this information after it has been entered.

There isn't currently a way to filter your recipes by date cooked. You need to view all your Notes from your Profile page, accessed from the menu under your username at top right.

Thanks for this tip. I was just using this method, though, and I'm not seeing the dates that I just added for a bunch of "I've cooked this" bookmarks (with notes). Encyclopedia of Nutrition and Cooking is finally indexed, and I used to cook from this book in the early 1990s. For all of the recipes that I've made from this book I used the EYB "I've cooked this" bookmark and put only 1990 for the date--no month. Now when I view all the notes on my profile page, I only see the one that I cooked recently--in December 2018. I don't see the date on all of the others. Do you think the dates for the others aren't showing up because there's no month or because the year is so long ago? I would add a month (let's say January--it's all just an estimate anyway), but I don't know how to edit the I've cooked this dates.
