Forum

I'd like to be able to see if there's any forum activity from the home page (this might also make the forum more active).

I'd also like if I could automatically go to the way I conducted my last search, instead of always having to click through from "quick search in my books" to "advanced search in my recipes". Or to click directly on any of those ways from the home page - it could be a drop down menu.

And lastly, it would be nice if there was a place to report small mistakes such as typos in the recipe title or ingredients - the kind of thing you wouldn't write a forum post or e-mail about but which could stand correcting.

Thanks wester - actually everything you are asking for is in development, which is encouraging.  We are currently revamping the Community page and a new feature will be Buzz on EYB which will show latest forum and blog posts and hot topics (which hopefully we get more of as the website expands).

A major development we are working on is completely changing the way search is done.  Searching your recipes will be available from My EYB so it will be there as soon as you log-in or if you are on a Community page, by one click to My EYB.

On reporting typos - there is a Report an Error link at the bottom of every page.  Just click on it, fill in the error and an email comes to us.  I would love for everyone to report anything wrong that they see - with almost a quarter of a million recipes indexed now there are bound to be some mistakes still hidden away.
