Hi Folks

I was just doing a search on my bookshelf in recipes, filtered to limit search to main courses.. and I get 39,036 recipes.

I then tried to look at limiting by recipe type, and selected  dish types, and I was going to exclude salads.. but salads doesn't show in the filters that are in the 22, 000 recipes in the "recipe types" filter ..

I know I have some "main course" salads .. why don't they get a category in the search options when I limit to "main courses"?

They do get a category in side dishes.. but again, I know I have some main course salads..

This means I can't exclude "main course" "salads" from my search ... which is what I wanted to do as there are 3900 main course salads in my bookshelf!

This seems a weird anomoloy???

Am I missing something in using filters?

And when I search by "salads", "main course" and then "-salads", and do a word search on salad, I get 713 results that are main course salads, but haven't been tagged as such ....

Just did this search/filter in the Library/Recipes which would work the same way in your Bookshelf/Recipes: (1) in the sidebar, Filter by Courses > Main course, then (2) Filter by Recipe Types > Side dishes > Salads, then (3) Toggle the "+" in the green Salads Filter bubble to "-" to exclude Main course Salads.
