Apologies if this has been addressed before, but I did a search and couldn't see it.

I often go into research mode with a particular recipe and unearth recipes that fit the bill in books that i don't currently own.

Frequently I will end up buying the book based on that one special recipe, but what would really work for me is the ability to add a bookmark to a recipe or tag it somehow, when it is in a book that is not currently in my library.

If that functionality was available I could search my bookmarks and see why it was I wanted to buy that book in the first place lol, as sometimes I forget what it was that struck me as fascinating about a book. Perhaps there is a workaround here that I havent thought of?

I know that eventually there will be a book wishlist function, and that will be amazing but I would also love to be able to add a single recipe to a list. Anyone else need this option or is it just me?

You could try adding it as a personal recipe - my bookself; add personal recipe; in the note section you could indicate the book etc etc

Deb is correct about adding it as a Personal Recipe. But I would put the book title in the Source field as it then appears on the recipe when it pops up in the recipe search results.
