I was just notified that a new post had appeared in a topic I was following, "Recipe Roulette?" But when I tapped the link, I got the message "Access denied."

I can access other parts of the forums, including this thread, but for me the thread ends at a post that went up a year ago.

bittrette - that sounds like a browser issue. I was able to access that Forum topic without any issue. Does anyone else have a problem getting to this topic - Recipe Roulette?

If you still cannot see it bitrette, try refreshing your browser. Then try deleting your browser cache/history.

I have tried 2 browsers, and cleared my history in one of them. I can't see past a post 1 year ago by Agaillard.

I'm now wondering if the post has been deleted, either by the member or by us. We have been getting a lot of spam posts recently which we delete as soon as we are aware of them. So you possibly got the notification of a new post but we deleted it before you clicked the link. Because the post was now gone, your access was denied to view that post.  The post by Agaillard is the most recent one on that topic.

So Agaillard may have been trying to sell a number-randomizing app.

No, the Recipe Roulette topic is genuine. Someone (not Agaillard, a long-time member) may have added a spam post that was then deleted. That would have been the notification that you were sent bitrette. But when you clicked the link that post had gone.

I know the topic is legit; I just misattributed the spam post, which came from one anitadeanne.
