I'd love to access recipes in non-cookbooks, like Marlena De Blasi's books. Any plans to index those?

Thanks, Lori P.

We have indexed a few non-recipe books so far e.g. all three of Ruth Reichl's memoirs, Molly Wizenberg's A Homemade Life.  Generally we index books if members have them on their bookshelves.  So add them and if we have enough members owning them, or requesting we index them, then they will get done.

We have several of Marlena de Blasi's books in the Library already but if you have others that are not listed, then import the ISBNs using Import Books and we will add them to the Library.  They will then automatically be added to your Bookshelf.

A request:
Memories of a Lost Egypt: A memoir with Recipes by Colette Rossant isn't in your system

EDIT TO ADD, forget that request! The ISBN of the above didn't show up, but the cover of

Apricots On The Nile: A Memoir With Recipes by Colette Rossant

looks the same as the book I have so . . .

I tried importing "A Thousand Days in Venice", ISBN 978-0-345-45764-6. It was rejected no matter how I tried to submit it.

Ah, I see now, by doing a search of the Library, that it IS listed, but only using the Hardcover ISBN. Since I own the Paperback, it wasn't coming up. Maybe something to consider cross-indexing?

Thanks for the great resource!

If you find that your edition of a book isn't in the Library, import that ISBN using the Import Books feature.  Then when we add that edition to the Library, it will automatically go onto your Bookshelf.  If you want the book on your Bookshelf now, add the edition we have in the Library, then you can delete it later when your own edition is added.
