Whenever you want more precise search results you should use the filters on the right (or under the Filter link on a phone). For the pasta search you would apply the filter Recipe type / Dish type / Pasta, doughs and sauces then enter the type of sauce you want to make in the word search. There may be the odd result where the sauce is used in the dish rather than being a recipe for the sauce but most will be for making it. You will also see results where the bolognese sauce is part of another recipe such as lasagne.
This is the search by bolognese of the Library - https://www.eatyourbooks...sta%2c+doughs+%26+sauces You can also search by bolognaise (which is the French spelling of the sauce) but there are a lot fewer results - https://www.eatyourbooks...0sauces&sortsmall=on
For making pasta dough/shapes you add the 'How to' filter under Dish types / Misc. This is that search of the Library - https://www.eatyourbooks...uces&f_cat=How+to...
And finally, when wanting to find how to make an ingredient such as ricotta or yogurt rather than recipes containing those ingredients, apply the How to... filter as above. We only added the How-to tag a few years ago so there are a lot of earlier recipes that don'tyet have the tag added. If you spot any on your own Bookshelf that should have the tag added, please email us and we will add it.
Added - lkgrover and I crossed over. She is quite correct that adding flour to the search gets around the issue of the How to... tag having to yet be added to a lot of fresh pasta recipes.
