I’ve been trying to access some of the recipes in the CKBK books on my bookshelf with no success and after rereading the information posted on the blog introducing CKBK I realized that I no longer have the little red CKBK link symbol on any of my CKBK books. I don’t know exactly when they disappeared but am wondering what I have to do to get them back.

I don't use ckbk but I do see the red logo link on some of the books in my bookshelf.

I wasn't able to see them for the past month or so on my IPad where I do most of my online recipe searches, but I just logged into EYB on my Windows PC and there are the red CKBK markers plus they are now visible on my IPhone. I will have to go check my IPad again. I don't know if it made any difference, but I logged into the CKBK app on my IPhone a few minutes ago and checked my subscription status on my account (yes it is current) just before I checked my PC and IPhone. Maybe it was just another computer mystery glitch?

Well the red  CKBK logos are still missing on my list of books and all the individual CKBK books on my IPad.  I update the OS on both the IPad and IPhone at the same time and cannot think if any other differences in them.  I logged into the CKBK app on the iPad and that is still working.  Is anyone else having this issue on an IPad?

I also use ipad exclusively and not having problems.  Yesterday, I was having issues on another matter but I think it was related to being kicked out of signed  in status and having to login number of times.


Were you doing anything with the accessibility page?  I think mine may have started with changing one item but now it is all ok. I did undo and change one item in there again. Not sure what happened. 


BTW, I find it hard to use the ipad online keyboard using my index finger.  I seem to always hit a right tab  like when I mean to type "to" it goes to y as in "yo". Never with real keyboard.

hillsboroks - the Eat Your Books and ckbk sites are completely separate so nothing you do on one will affect the performance of the other. The ckbk logo appears in the EYB Library for all books on their site, whether or not you are a ckbk subscriber. On your Bookshelf you see the ckbk logo for all their books if you have added the ckbk books to your Bookshelf. If you have not added the ckbk books then you only see the ckbk logo on their books that you also own.


I'm not sure why you aren't seeing the ckbk logo on your iPad. Can you please email us a screenshot of this and also a screenshot of the same search from your phone? We can then investigate further.

I finally fixed my problem of no CKBK red icons on my IPad by going into Settings and Safari and clearing all my history. I also clicked that I wanted to close all tabs.  When I logged back into EYB all the red CKBK icons were back on my CKBK books and recipes.
