Barb_N:  I ONLY search my books for recipes (use them or they go!) UNLESS an EYB note catches my eye like a recent note re: "a garlickly mess of potatoes & capsicums" that I turned into a lovely main course dinner bowl :)

I would love to have a monthly meal plan calendar that I can use to add the recipes I want to cook from my books or magazines.  I use this fuction in copymethat web page every day to add recipes I want to cook from my recipes I've added.  It makes me plan my monthly cooking ideas and I follow it almost 90% of the time.

I would also love a meal plannning calendar.  I use copymethat as well.  Could it be categories I assign, like "want to cook" (because, well, they would taste good), another category of things from new recipes that look appealing, and another for things that use up the stuff in the fridge that needs being used ASAP.  To have each category available in color-coded type would be awesome.

Rinshin - do you know there is now a meal planning feature on our CookShelf app. You can plan weeks ahead if you wish to. You can add any recipe from your shelf to the planner and you can then add as many of the recipes as you wish to the shopping list.

Where can I find the meal planning calendar in the app of recipes I want to cook?

Rinshin - first make sure you have the app updated from the app store. In the app click Me at the bottom, then click Meal Plan at the top. Click the + next to the date you want to start the plan. Then search your recipes for the one you want to add. You can't currently limit your search to just your "I Want to Cook This" recipes. Instead first search your shelf using that filter and open the recipes you are interested in. Then when Meal Planning those recipes will appear below the search box as Recently Viewed and are easy to select.
