I've looked at different places ie my home page and my bookshelf but cannot find the bookmarklet to drag.  Using Firefox.

Hi, Rinshin! The Bookmarklet doesn't actually say "bookmarklet" on it, so that might be why you're missing it. It should be on the Home page and your Bookshelf page, in a gray box on the right just beneath the "Hi, Rinshin" display of your Bookshelf contents. Just drag the blue button that says "+ Add to EYB Recipes" up to your favorites/bookmarks bar. More info about using the Bookmarklet is here.

Deborah, in the position shown in your example, I just see the gift membership box. Perhaps that is what Rinshin is seeing too.

I'm using Google Chrome on a Mac, but my Home page looks just like the example shown in the first image in the Bookmarklet article in the Help/Support Center, with the Bookmarklet gray box just above the blue gift membership box. I wonder if this is a bug in the way the new EYB site displays in Firefox?

Home page

This is my Home Page using Safari on an iPad 2. You can see on the right above the blue box with the cake there is a blue bar saying + Add to EYB Recipes. That is the Bookmarklet that can be dragged to your favorites bar. But doing it on an iPad is more complicated than just the drag and drop that can be done on a computer. We have a Help section that explains how to do it.

Jane, I have sent you a screen shot from my ipad2, showing that grey box missing.

I tried it on my Mac with Firefox -- no gray box (unlike with Chrome, where I do see the gray box).

Isn't that strange? I'm wondering if there is some issue with the Javascript in the Bookmarklet being blocked on some browsers. Thanks Cati for the screenshot - that was very helpful. Though it's odd that my screenshot here is also with Safari on an iPad 2.

I've passed this one on to our developer but it would be useful if any other members who don't see the gray Bookmarklet box could let us know which device and browser they are using.

I'm using a laptop with Windows 7 and Firefox (newest version), and as with Rinshin, there is no grey box on the Home page or on My Bookshelf page.  On the Home page the blue Gift Certificates box appears directly under the Hi section with the count of Books, Recipes etc.

In my case, the invisibility of the Bookmarklet affects nothing, because it's already part of my Firefox Bookmarks bar.  I believe I've used it to index an online recipe since the site redesign, but will re-test today to make sure.

ETA: Maybe I should just stay out of this. It's just occurred to me that because I've already added the Bookmarklet to the Bookmarks bar, the Bookmarklet isn't going to display on my Home page.

Re: non-appearance of the grey box: I believe I do have some restrictions on Javascript running, but will have to go check on that and update.

Thank you and I'm seeing the same thing as Cati with firefox.  I just checked chrome and I do see it there.

I found out the problem.  When I increased the zoom on chrome from 100% to greater, that box disappeared as well.  I always had Firefox at greater than 100% zoom and when I reduced it to 100%, it showed up there too.  For me, it's gotten hard to read with 100%.

I am using an iPad Air 2 with safari, same issue here.

I was just able to drag the bookmarklet on Firefox with 110% zoom.  At 120 or greather, drag box disappears.

Rinshin, that's interesting, but I have a new wrinkle: I'm using Chrome on a Mac, and usually view it at 75% at about half my screen width (lots of other tabs open at the same time). So I tried increasing the zoom, and the gray box was there at 100%, disappeared at 110%, then came back again at 125%.  But when I went back to 110% and widened my display to about 3/4 of my screen, the gray box came back. I narrowed the screen again to see if the box had just moved somewhere else on the page, but it was not there anywhere. When I went to full-screen width at 110%, the box came back again. So there seems to be a point around 3/4 of the screen where the gray box gets lost, but anything narrower or wider, it's there.
