Since i have lots of books on my main floor, but also have books in basement storage, i would like to know how you can designate list one, or list two, using the same email address. Thanks

Jorubes, this is very easy to do: just create a Bookmark for "Main Floor" or "Kitchen" or whatever you call your principal shelving area, and another for "Basement", then tag each book with the relevant location. This idea is covered in our Help/Support Center article on Suggestions on how to use Bookmarks. I did this when I set up my Bookshelf because I have cookbooks stored all over my house!

Thank you for your prompt reply, your website is a god send, i was waiting for someone to create this system since my cookbook collection got out of control, and when you buy duplicates of books you already have, there has to be an end to this madness, which makes your website much appreciated.

Hi Jorubes,

Welcome to Eat your Books, glad you like it so much.

As some of your ordering problems seems to be be on book level as opposed to recipe level, maybe it would be a good idea to combine Eat Your Books with a more general book site such as LibraryThing. There are several ways to make virtual bookshelves there. I have had an account on both EYB and LibraryThing for ages now - since I first heard of EYB on a LT forum, actually.
