Hi all, any other Aussies hosting a meal for mothers' day next weekend? What are you cooking?

I'm doing lunch for nine - I'm thinking of roasting a turkey and serving with sprouts, pumpkin, roast potatoes and tomato and onion savoury. If I can get some decent quinces, for dessert I'll do a quince clafoutis, otherwise ... maybe a ginger and pear cake or golden syrup dumplings.

Any suggestions for a starter/nibbles?

A very tasty and pretty canape for your mother's day lunch might be this -

Feta tapenade tarte soleil

bit fiddly, but worth the effort (vegetarian option)!
