For home cooks who might be worried about running out of dog food, this is a reminder that you can feed 'human food' to your dog. I cook for my dog on a permanent basis, and her health is all the better for it, but I've noticed that dog food stocks are low in my local supermarket. What to do if there's none left?

If you have lentils or beans, rice, canned fish, veggies or organ meat, these are the makings of a healthy dog-friendly meal! Don't hesitate to share simple whole foods, just leave out onions and seasonings.

I'm glad to have discovered the EYB community and would be happy to give suggestions if I can help with this part of home cooking. If anyone makes meals to share with their dog, how do you do it?
