Am I missing an easy way to add a bookmark to a recipe found in the "search in book" function? That search  process seems to take me "out" of my bookshelf, to the main bookshelf, and there is no chefs hat appearing by the recipe title when it does that .. unlike recipes in the book on my shelf..?? So to add the bookmark I have to track back and troll through the recipe till I find it again .. seems really counterintuitive!

debkellie - if you click the recipe title you want to bookmark (open in a new tab if you want to keep the search results) then on the recipe details page you see Bookmarks in the right column and you can add what you want there.

Thanks Jane ;-).. doesn't though allow adding note at same time (which I can do in my bookshelf ?)
