There are a lot of new free Hippocrene cookbooks on the Amazon Kindle site, both UK and US sites. it is worth checking them out for some interesting and unusual cuisines. Often free books are not always well presented but I tried one and it seems to be OK.

' Brazil, A Culinary Journey by Cherie Hamilton', it has a proper working table of contents which takes you to each recipe. It is even indexed on EYB !

They may not be free for long. Don't forget you don't need a Kindle to read them, I have all my ebooks on my laptop as well as my Kindle.

I just bought the Kindle version of Canal House 2: Fall & Holidays (indexed on EYB) for $3.99 (list 21.99)- it's in Amazon's list of 100 books under 3.99 list that's just come out.  Worth having on my iPad during the holiday season.  The only cookbook on the list.  I'd highly recommend the Anne Tyler and William Boyd - I think the only other two on the list worth having!

I found a new one! Todd Wilbur's Super Duper Totally Authorized Top Secret Recipes eBook.  

I'm incredibly excited because I almost bought this one at full price a couple of days ago, but decided to hold off and when I came back to the site, I saw it's being offered for free, yay :) I've made a couple of recipes already because my cousin has some of Todd's printed books (this eBook is a collection of previously published recipes, but if you don't have any of the original books, this is an awesome one to have).  They are all recipes developed to taste like copy-cats of restaurant recipes.  I don't know how long it's going to be free, so check it out soon...here is the link:
