We live in the UK and bought a Ninja Foodie Blender & Soup Maker ( Hot & Cold Blender) about 6 months ago. I was sceptical, but my husband had wanted one for years, so he bought it without telling me - would not be without it now! It’s such a robust machine with a serious hefty glass jug - you do need to have strong grip and arm strength to lift it and wash it out ( it has self clean function but I like to give it a good scrub with the brush included first) but there’s only been a couple of weeks that we haven’t used it in all that time- we had delicious soup for lunch today! It’s been brilliant for us: our diet was poor, my husband wasn’t eating enough fibre and I had lost interest in cooking, as it’s now just the two of us. We now eat more vegetables, whole foods and non-meat sources of protein as a result; it’s good for using up whatever you have in the fridge, freezer or store cupboard, especially veg that maybe you would have thrown away, we have saved money as a result and got back our love of healthy nutritious food. We don’t have a lot of counter top space but we’ve bought a shelf arrangement that gives you storage underneath also and it sits on top in pride of place. I have other gadgets in the cupboard Highly recommended for its Sauté, Chop, and different soup settings, and large capacity jug (enough for four large portions of soup) with lots of different settings. Makes great frothy hot chocolate - throw in your favourite chocolate bar! Brilliant.
