Hello

Is there a way to search only for indexed books that are written in French (or another language)?

Not currently though that is on our developers' to-do list.

Actually there is, with limitations. ISBN numbers contain a 1 or 2 digit prefix for language. 2 represents French. Searching for 9782* will give you all the cookbooks in French with 13 digit ISBN numbers. The results also seem to include a small number of French cookbooks in English. Perhaps these are errors in the original assignment of ISBN numbers.

The prefix isn't the language of the book but the language of the publication country. So there will be books published in English in those countries. In the EYB Library those may be the majority, given that the site is English-language. And it will exclude books in that language published in an English language country.


A search of the EYB Library by publication country (Country in filters) would give the same result. This is the list of books published in France.
