Anybody have a nifty way of keeping the thermometer in a drawer? The unit itself, the long tangle-y wire, and the probe that's longer than anything else...all go into my silverware divider in my gadget drawer. Right after I quickly slam the drawer shut on a neat thermo, it jumps and twists in the dark drawer so that the potato masher and egg slicer quickly become co-joined triplets for the next time the drawer is opened.
I roll Silpats into an old salt-container tube (both ends removed). I use coffee filters to keep glass measuring cups from sticking together. In exchange for these tips, can anyone help me with the thermometer problem?
