Hi, i was wondering if other people notice a slower website the last few days aswell?

I click on a link and it takes 20-30 seconds up to a minute for the link to load..

Thanks,
Richard

Yes, sorry about this. We are having technical issues that we are trying to resolve.

Looking forward to the fix. Things have been running slowly for a while.

Thanks, Jane, for confirming the speed issues and hope you can fix it. It’s agonizingly slow on iPad iOS 18.0.1.

Ingredient lookup when indexing is super painful (for the more novice indexer). You can't tell when something specific you're looking for doesn't exist, or if it's still searching.

Yes. I agree that it's made searching painful, and indexing almost impossible.

I'm having the same problem. It's almost impossible to index a book because of this issue. I hope it gets fixed soon.

Many apologies for the delay in resolving this - we are still trying to identify the cause. Nothing has changed on the site so we are having a problem trying to find the reason for the slow-down. But please be assured we are working hard to get it fixed and hope to have a solution soon. Thank you for your patience. In the meantime, please don't do any member indexing (which you probably have stopped anyway as it's so frustrating).

(going all geeky) If literally nothing changed, then you may have hit a scale issue that existed all along. It does "feel" like a caching issue (comes and goes) or a lookup issue (bucket hits causing overflow). Not sure if you've got an old school database performance person looking at this or not. Good luck!

We think the issue is now resolved. The site has been quick for the past hour and hopefully the issue should not happen again. Thank you for your patience.
