Does anyone know if chestnut puree is suitable for freezing? I bought a large can recently to add to a nutloaf, but the recipe called for about 1/4 the quantity, so I've got lots left over. It's expensive and I don't want to waste it.

Have not tried to freeze the puree, but I do freeze chestnuts (shelled) and they work out fine.

make another 3 nutloaves and freeze them
