My head doctor suggested I adjust my diet to help address tension headaches and/or sinusitus symtoms. He was preaching about eastern medicine and mentioned ayurveda, hot and cold foods affecting different parts of the system.

I had a brief look round at the weekend and predictably enough it's a minefield - there's a thousand books out there, so I wondered; does anybody on EYB have any experience of ayurvedic cooking? If so, maybe they could recommend a good place to start - please keep it simple, I don't want my already sore head to get any worse.

Have you looked at  the Ayurvedic Cookbook... it appears to get fairly good reviews, and seems deigned for those that like to cook ;-) Enjoy your journey.

Thanks Deb,
I love that it's by someone called Amadea Morningstar.
It must be authentic...
