I'd like to add this book to my bookshelf, but whilst I put the ISBN into Import Books some time (months) ago it has yet to appear. I believe this is because you use Amazon as your source? I'm not sure about global availabilty, but in the UK this is a Lakeland Ltd exclusive - there is a listing on Amazon, but it's sold by Lakeland and not listed as a book.

I assume that the recipes are the same as the US version (http://www.freshpreservi...ok--guide-to-preserving-(37th-edition)-1034026VM.html) as the cover is the same (bar "Metric Edition", obviously), but I don't think that has an Amazon listing either.

The book is now added to the Library - Ball Blue Book Guide to Preserving (Metric Edition). If you could take a look at the recipes in the indexed 2006 edition and let us know if the recipes are the same, then we can link your edition and the recipes will become part of your searches.

I've had a quick look at the first half-dozen pages of recipes in my edition, and unfortunately it's not exactly the same - there are one or two recipes from the 2006 edition which don't appear to be in this edition, plus a number of new recipes that definitely aren't in the 2006 edition. Also, but of far lesser importance, the order of the recipes is slightly different in some cases.

On the back cover it states that there are over 75 new recipes in the metric (37th) edition - this is presumably relative to the 36th edition, which a quick Google search suggests was published in 2013; therefore it seems likely that there were further recipes beyond those 75 added in the editions published between 2006 and 2013.

Thanks for that. We won't be indexing the Metric edition as you are the only member who owns it so if you do ever decide you want to index it yourself, let us know and we can copy over the index from the 2006 edition, which is 475 recipes which should save some work.
